One of Caer Glaem's towers smashed outward along the grass of the hill it crowned, sending rubble and splintered wood and broken bodies spinning out into the night. Some strange, deep-sea looking creature rose from the ruin, almost like a dragon, needle-mouthed maw open to the silver moon as it trilled a strange, shrill cry of victory. It spread its great leathery wings and took to the air.
It spread like a stain through Glaschu. The forests withered and died. The mountains went dead and dark. It raced through cities like a rabid thing, spreading sickness and plague and bloodshed, until the smoke of the ruins it left behind blot out sun and moon.
]Gendry woke up panicked. He'd had nightmares before, but none had ever been shaped like this one. Indeed, he scarcely understood what any of it even meant. But it had all seemed important and he didn't know why. But what he did know was somehow, Arya was involved. Why, he could not say, but it was her that was on his mind. So it was Arya he called in the dead of night.]
[ Arya hardly knew what this one meant herself, only that it had invaded her mind, forced her to live through it over and over, except each time seemed different, as if she was watching with someone else, a different person, through their eyes and yet through her own at the same time.
When he called, she was awake, wide awake, huddled in a corner of her bed chamber with Nymeria laying in front of her.] Gendry? [ she whispered, probably sounding more like a child than she ever had.]
[ Her eye stay wide for a moment longer thinking that soon enough another dream will come. She bites back fear and anything else, trying to convince herself that what she's seeing now is real. And wherein she'd normally try to seem tougher, she isn't sure what answer would make her seem so. So she just answers honestly, too tired to think on it more.] No. [ There's a pause before she glances away, obviously towards a window.] It's still night... why are you awake?
[He's no fool to not realize something is wrong. But he can't be sure it's for the same reason as him. This place was too strange to be sure of anything.] I had a dream, is all. And I thought... [He frowns and he gets that look on his face like it hurts him to think.] It seemed I ought to see you were fine, is all. You are, aren't you?
Yes, [ she answers quickly, drawing her knees beneath her chin as her arms wrap around her legs. He may hear Nymeria's whine, as the wolf tucks her snout beneath one of Arya's hands in an effort to comfort. Arya's quiet for a moment longer before her voice sounds tense..] I'm having dreams. [ Again. But these are different. Not wolf dreams.]
I couldn't say. Why should it be? [He has no inkling that there's more to the Starks than scary giant wolves.] Might be lots of folks are having this dream.
[ arya is quick to retreat on blaming herself especially if it means exposing the fact that she has dreams, the warging sort of dreams.] Maybe it's magic. Or a curse. Or a vision. [ like old nan used to speak of.]
A vision. You think all that might actually happen? [He's clearly dubious. But it's late at night and so fresh in his mind that his typical skepticism comes off as fleeting. The truth of it is, he's worried that it might be real.]

[He was worried she was in danger, to be true. But now he knew she had the same dream, so he assumed it must come from her.]
